Leonard Malech Brooklyn Tech class of 1962. He was the boys assistant coach from '71 to '75, the girls head coach from '76 to '81 and finally the boys head coach from 1984 until his retirement in 2000. As coach he led his teams the third most PSAL City Championships
Barry Cohen 1968 graduate of Brooklyn Tech. Captain of the 1968 outdoor track and field team. 1968 Outdoor City Champion in the 2 mile run. Ran ¾ mile leg of winning 1968 Distance Medley Relay Championship of America at Penn Relays. He was awarded “Outstanding Performance by an Individual Athlete” graduation.
Phil Zodda graduated from Cardinal Spellman in 1969. PSAL XC-Track Coach 34 years; 10 @ Tech (2008-2018) Responsible for 10 City Championship Teams; 8 Iron Horse Award Winners, 23 PSAL Record Holders and coached Tech’s first girls 4 x 400 relay team to run at the Millrose Games.
Rohan Grant ran for Tech up until his graduation in 1991. He is the founder of the southeastern Pennsylvania-based Maveric Track Club
Audrey Churchill,
1980 graduate of Tech. Ran on the team 77 & 78. She was a member of 1977 Cross Country City Championship Team. She placed 5th in 2 Mile Run Indoor City Champs 1979. Earned a Varsity Letter at Union College. She coached a 5th grade track club at PS 261
